“Lovely traditional boat and we were the only ones on it at the later night cruise which was a treat! But there's space for probably 15 people. The captain was very friendly he didn't speak after welcoming us on as the guide was recorded and played over speakers but that was fine. You meet at a nice boat bar so we had some drinks first which was lovely and we could take them on the boat too. A special experience.”

Once down it is an amazing trial of passageways and artefacts and later sculptures made by some of the miners. This opens out into a huge area with lights and sculptures (one depicting the last supper). There are also smaller private chapels to view by prior arrangements. Return up from the Salt mines in the lift (free to go up). Shops and cafes are there.”
